Yep, if it's that link it's what we are all thinking, so there is a general agreement with the article.
Ole has also failed in management once but looks top notch now.
And no GN hasn't become a critic but a pundit, subtle difference, there was no criticism of Ole at all, only praise.

Where is Gary saying anything wrong?

Why not elaborate more on your reasoning for this article in the first place?

I respect the fact Gary tried it, and in a difficult situation, but I think it was the wrong one for him to take. The fact that those before and after him failed at Valencia before they managed to fix up, shows that the job was wrong for a non speaking Spanish manager with no experience to come in. He had little connections to the club and seeing being close with an unpopular owner was always going to be an issue.

It's not really a stick worth beating him over.

I totally agree with this.

What I will add is that IMO he needs to give it another shot. TV punditry is the easy way out.
