So Levy thinks he can not spend for two windows and deliver a stadium 6 months late and counting.
The only thing that could possible brighten up the situation is a major club announcement on the stadium being ready. Anything less than that is ridiculous behaviour.
What a special man...Mr Levy

Seems perverse that Paul Pogba, the French player, is home grown, but England international Erik Jeremy Egdar Dier, isn't
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s not a nationality thing though it’s a education thing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I know that, and that's why its perverse. I know under EU law you cannot discriminate on the basis of nationality so this is the way around it. Seems flawed though. It might be promoting the academy system but our academys are packed full of foreign kids which doesnt necessarily promote English youth

Homegrown players
Trippier
Rose
Winks
Dele
Kane
Davies ( league not Europe )
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So 2 MORE homegrown players needed before Spurs can have a full squad of 25 (assuming Pochettino even wants that).
For that reason I don't see Trippier leaving - Aurier will get the boot long before he does. Similarly Davies, who to be fair is fine as versatile backup for LB and CB.
Wan-Bissaka and Zaha really would be perfect, but Palace will see Spurs coming a mile off if they try to get them both in one summer.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not sure Zaha has what it takes to mae it at the highest level.
Seems content to be the big man at Palace. Even chose Ivory Coast having played at youth/U21 and full international level for England .
Seems to like being a big fish in a little pond.

I think you’ll find they aren’t full of foreign kids. It’s prob a 75/15 split in favour of British kids.
Also let’s not forget we’ll benefit from this if say Troy Parrott becomes what’s expected of him as being Irish the time he becomes 21 he’ll be classed as homegrown

I've got a feeling that eriksen and toby are going to be needed to pay the builders.

well eriksen and toby are off so they will need replacing
zaha definitely we should be looking to bring in. plus a quality CM, and a quality CB.
a better striker back up than llorete is required. so that's 4 signings.
we should also have a close look at the GK situation. not saying anything should happen, but we should certainly be exploring if there are better options out there than LLoris.

There were rumours of 3 different clubs trying to sign Limpetssen on loan, and nothing happened
