The trials and tribulations of January are now over. A tough month with 3 defeats and just one draw, being knocked out of the cup at bristol. The registration embargo, the protests against Anderson at the west brom game and the fans finally turning against parky against reading. To put the tin hat on missed out at the 11th hour on the much needed striker the side needed as Fleetwood put the block on the signing of Ched Evans. Fun being a Bolton fan isn't it? To sum up the January window. A striker on loan Christian Doidge loan has returned to forest green and Callum Connolly a defender from Everton has signed on loan. Still hope though. While Bolton topped the mini league at the end of 2018 on goal difference they are still only 2 points from safety despite the bad results. Unfortunately that could change as Sheffield United away today the first of 5 February fixtures that include matches against the top 3 looks on paper a mismatch. Madine, sharp, hogan, mcgoldrick v Donaldson and magennis, we head over the Pennines with little hope. Team news. Can't find much. Olkowski and beevers seem a doubt. Williams and wildschut out, no news on Wilsons or alnwicks availability. Connolly could make his debut as replacement for olkowski. Personally pondering if vela or otzhumer could be recalled to freshen up the midfield. Heard the bingo machine is on the team coach so we will see.

It would be a lot cheaper to buy a league one club than a championship club, and Prof Parky knows that league inside out,Gary Madine will have run out of clubs by then, and will be returned to Parky as an unwanted striker on a free transfer, so getting out of that division with Gary would be a certainty just ask Parky ,

With debts of 13 million or over, Ken needs to get a decent price but 30 million is far too high. Surely he needs to reduce his expectations.

Just read Parkin's comments about no playing the U23s
Saturday's performance lacked ANY attacking intent, nothing zip nada.
If P&P cant see that then why are they in management. Play 6 in midfield against Preston with U23s running like gazelles onto through balls which both Connelly and Connell seem quite capable of providing.
How's that going to ruin U23 careers Phil?
And we just might score.....

Prof P is back from his mini break and what a shame it wasn't a much longer break.
He's returned with a big bag of peanuts ready to offer them as payment to out of contract aging beanpoles with own boots.

Short on players the sick bay is overflowing it needs an extension on the extension and we're short of cash
Ken has it all in hand with discount shirts and Super 7 Season tickets all he needs is fans to cough up then he'll settle with the tax man which leaves us with the rest of points drought February to save up for the next wages run and post ads for out of contract beanpole strikers with own boots.

there could be more away fans than Bolton fans, seeing PNE sold all 4500 tickets for the game

Another day another winding-up petition. I have to say Ken is very consistent. He'll be hoping and praying for a sale but no more than the fans.

Liverpool have posted a £125m profit.
Ken is sat in the at hall home staring at the letter box hoping they posted it to him. Prof P said he'd have a team of Madine's if he had that much money to spend
