Sky Sports double standards

In 2005 Rodney Marsh was sacked by Sky for making a tasteless remark about the Tsunami.

In 2011 Andy Gray was sacked by Sky for making sexist comments to a co presenter and about female officials, which Sky reported as `unacceptable and offensive behaviour`.

In 2011 Richard Keys resigned (may as well have been sacked by Sky) for his part in the sexist comments about a female official.

In 2016 the late darts legend Eric Bristow was sacked by Sky for making insensitive comments about the football abuse scandal on twitter.

In 2017 Peter Beagrie was sacked by Sky after being found guilty of assaulting his girlfriend.

Contrast that, in 2018 Liverpool FC stalwart Jamie Carragher spat into the face of a 14 year old girl, which was recorded on video, this resulted in a few months suspension before being reinstated into his £2m a year Sky pundit role.

Double standards from Sky. I wonder why Carragher was treated so favourably after his disgusting behaviour?

If a fan did that at a ground, they would be arrested and banned for life from football grounds? I personally find it disgusting by the mere sight of him anymore! Bad form SSN!

Probably rang Murdoch up and offered him out at melwood if he didn't get reinstated

We had a discussion on this a month or more ago...there were dome fans who actually thought he hadn't spat at someone despite damn ing video evidence...

I asked the same question we he reappeared on sky without even a mention of it...we still have no answer

Carragher and his permanently red face is the thing of nightmares.

I can only imagine it's because Sky think they have to have Neville and Carragher together because it will appeal to knuckle dragging fans aged 30-50 (who I presume are their target demographic) who love one and hate the other so tune in hoping their guy gets one over on the other.

Not a fan of either but Neville doesn't irritate me as much as he used to and has some intelligence. Carragher looks and sounds like he's not far removed from throwing his own turds.

Not condoning it but if the driver hadn't opened his window and mouthed off in the first place his passenger wouldn't have got spat on.

So you wind down your car window next time, it's ok to spit at you because you shouldn't do that?

Wouldn't mind if anyone outside of Liverpool could actually understand his accent.
But yeah, double standards at it's extreme.

What logic is that?
