Aberdeen

Must be the worst team to support in Scotland shortly followed by Hibernian. East Fife win away on penalties. Countless cup shocks....well i wouldnt call them shocks now. Countless managers, players, coaches. Shocking club, they should be doing alot better. Embarrassing really. If i was a fan i would be depressed and probably would want to move country.

Heard bbc radio scotland say they had an email from Seoul, South Korea a dons fan listening to the game at 545am. Get back to bed ya numpty

Feel sorry for Brown though he deserves better
------------------------------------------------------------------

I don't.

Craig Brown did the dirty on Motherwell who gave him a job when he was washed up. At his age he should know that the grass aint always greener elsewhere.

I do feel a wee bit sorry for the dons fans though. They are generally good loyal supporters who deserve so much better.

On the other hand, most of them absolutely hate United, so maybe I should forget the sympathy and just have a right good at their expense.

You could be right about the Motherwell thingy Cybershed, I just thought Brown comes across as a decent guy but maybe he is past it.

TBF, he does sound like an extremely decent guy, albeit I don't think he did right by Motherwell.

I think that there is some malign problem/influence at Pittodrie within AFC.

What that problem I'm not sure. But all the signs are that there is something rotten there that needs to be rooted out.

Ummm, motherwell never gave him a contract - he was well within his rights (morally and legally) to move away to another club if the offer was there.

And no one can argue the point that Aberdeen is a bigger club than Motherwell. If your employers don't even offer you a contract and someone bigger who offers more money comes calling what would you do?

He did say 'no' to the Dons first of all.

If I was him I would have used the Dons interest/offer as leverage to prise a contract out of Motherwell.

I think if you want to preach loyalty to players you should lead by example and not always chase the largest paycheck. I don't expect that he needed the money (or the hassle) so why leave a football team he was in the process of building to move to a club in terminal decline?

OK, maybe he fancied a challenge. Well he's got that alright.
