Another difficult week off the field, more takeover talk, more winding up orders from hmrc, used to it by now but this is now pushing fans already frustrated beyond by the poor results and general lack of attacking intent over the edge. Never have I seen morale this low even in the 80s. On to football. Derby day and Preston are bringing 4500 which will please ken no end. Looking back at happier times a cracking game between the sides early this season which ended 2-2. The table at the end of that game Bolton were 7th with 11 points and Preston were struggling with 5 near the bottom. Things have changed since with Bolton limping to just 23 points that's 12 points from 24 games, shocking. Preston seem to have recovered well. Whilst only 18th they are 12 points clear of the bottom 3. Whatever stat you look at is shocking. The most relevant is just 2 points from the last 6 games and just 2 goals scored. 3 points from safety and with Birmingham away Norwich home and Leeds away to come nothing less than 3 points will do today. Team news. Keeper alnwick could be back. Defensively a full back 4 out injured. Olkowski, Hobbs, beevers, Taylor. Also out Williams and wildschut. Looks likely the back 4 will be lowe, wheater, wilson, grounds. Very scary that. Lack of goals lack of pace and movement in defence. Anyone confident?

Yes takeover or bust for me. Daft thing is i think bolton can still get out of this looking at the march fixtures. Needs a proper manager in. Ken hanging on is destroying the football side of the club.

It's going to get tougher to get out of the mini league the longer the current regime continues it's 2 wins required now and our goal difference is terrible so its 4 or more wins to be able to breath.

Rest day today then it's back to hoping the rest of the mini league remain as bad as we are if we are to stay in touch while we are down in Brum tomorrow.
Something has to change somewhere if we are going to scrap for a few points..

The latest on BWFC financial status. The club is said to owe over 1 million GBP in Rates areas. The true debt is unknown but that is what the Beano has printed.
I don't suppose any of us are surprised> Kenneth says he has held a meeting with the council to try and find a compromise as the club is still being charged rates for a Premiership club. I don't know too much regarding how rates are assessed but I didn't think the league that a football club played in had any bearing on the size of its rates bill. I know that when I was in business, it was the size of the property, whether or not it was business premises or private dwelling and which council (who sets the rateable value) is.
Kenneth is obviously more clued up than me.

Match day again nobody seems to get excited these days and nobody expecting anything like a shock away win.
Later on it's pondering how many changes, will it be three or four only when you know can you try and figure out what formation and what great plan the mad Prof could have in store come kick off.
Oh and with reports Beevers is back isn't it time Wheater had a rest.
