Hazard vs Salah

I made an article on this at the end of last season, was told after only one good season from salah it was too soon to say he was better than hazard. So what about now? I still have the same view, and that is that salah is the better player.

Hazards weakness is and always will be he’s not a top player in his mind. He has talent but he doesn’t have the drive or hunger to the be the best. He doesn’t thirst for goals like players like salah do. He could be the most talented player in the world but without that drive to score goals and be the best and be better than anyone else, he’ll never reach the top level. I don’t like Liverpool but I can’t hate salah. He’s a top player and to me he’s the next CR7. The guy is a phenomenal player and goalscorer. People love van dijk and Alisson but the best signing klopp has made and probably will ever make is Salah.

One more goal for salah this season and he will have done twice in both of his FIRST two seasons in England what hazard has never done while at Chelsea: score more than 20 goals. Interesting

Son is quality. Great striker.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

As an opposition fan, I am more fearful of Hazard. When he's on his games he's hard to stop. But as several have pointed out, he's often doing it on his own. Salah is also a scary opponent but some of this is due to how he combines as part of their very attacking front three.

Put Hazard in City's line up, or Liverpool's or even Spurs' and I think he would be more destructive....like he is when Chelsea have had a good system/lineup. They are nit playing to his strengths right now which makes him look not as good as he is.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hazard wouldn't suit City or Liverpool as well as their forwards.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Spot on. The off the ball work which Salah provides in defence and offence is something Hazard has never done. It’s not all about give me the ball and see what I can do. It’s about stretching the play and running the hard yards backwards and forward.

People go on about Hazard is always on his own but even when he had Costa, Fabregas, Willian (better version), he was still producing a similar output to Son and Mane.

Son has 10 goals in 11 games. He's better than everyone right now, everywhere, in the universe.

Just needs to work on his diving a bit to reach Salah's levels
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hasn't Son been booked for diving at least once this season?

Salah doesn't get on the ball nearly as much as Hazard does and does a lot of his best work off the ball. They are different players that interpret their roles in very different ways, so comparing their goal output as a basis of ranking them is a tad ridiculous. Hazard has a lot more in common with Mane in what he does for Chelsea than he does with Salah.

Hazard plays similarly to countinho. Salah plays similarly to the city forwards. In a much superior team. Would be baffled if he didn’t score more. Tbh all of city and Liverpool’s, spurs and utds front lines should score more. Like golden state warriors in nba, you can’t double up on anyone.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hazard and Salah play the same position.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well other than hazard plays left and salah right, even if they were in the same position on football manager, they don’t play the same role. I think everyone ya agreed with that. Also salah plays for a good attacking team. Hazard is our attack.

Lebron James is the best player in the nba, he’s won a few titles, but lost more than he’s won because his team around him isn’t great. Only so much one player can do. Your a hazard hater and have been since Jose left

One on one against a defender Hazard is the clear winner. Everything else Salah trumps Hazard if you go buy the last season and half.

Is Hazard even on the level of Son?

On current form Son over Hazard

Carrying this injury hit Spurs side.

Goals don’t define some players. Would you say iniesta didn’t have a ‘thirst’ to be a top player cause he didn’t score goals? Some players aren’t just about goals.

Iniesta played in midfield most of his career. Hazard is a attacker and yes does the odd good shimey and beats his man for fun but for an attacker it’s all about the end result.

It doesn't matter whether it is Whoscored, Sky, Opta or any of those other stats aggregators, but if you read any of those index sheite that they do, Hazard often emerges the top PL player because of all the qualities he brings to an attack. He is that technically gifted catalyst in the mould of an Iniesta who gets in pockets where with a half-turn or deft control, he can unbalance the opposition defence as his team mates make runs off him.
He's a fantastic dribbler: the best in the league since he arrived England.
He's an efficient passer who you can always trust to get the ball and the attack won't break down.

Salah is getting more goals than players like Ronaldinho, or Rivaldo, or Figo did. But you'd be deluded to think he was better than any of them because of the number of goals he's getting.

Essentially, Sherrif yeah. Couldn’t be bothered to post that myself but yeah that’s my thoughts. As a neutral hazard is a much better footballer than salah. Salah a more effective goalscorer
