Sponsership

Just a thought, how about Stan using the might of Wall Mart to sponser us, imagine how much money they could bring to the club, then we could attract better players and start winning things again.
I hear there some deals that expire in 2014 ones that due to desperation we took maybe because we are a bit better financially we can up them too.

Would there not be a conflict of interest somewhere? It's not like we're Man City... we don't get away with stuff

He does not own Wall Mart so no there is technically no reason.

But there are considerable links between Enos and Wal Mart, are there not?

Can't really criticise Man City for getting the owner's brother to give the manager 400 million on a whim, then expect AFC to get it's owner's wife to spend huge sums on a sponsorship deal.

That would smack of hypocricy.

The main sponsorship deals are due for renewal in 2014 and the sums received will increase, unless the skys fall in and the club does really, really badly.

At the same time, second string sponsors are being taken on all the time. In the last year or so AFC have agreed sponsorship deals with Citroen, Indicit and a few others.

While not generating the hundreds of millions Man City play with, getting more of these will boost available money at the club. It's not bad news on the sponsorship front.

What's the chances of the Arsenal board "rolling back the prices" on the cost of season tickets?
