I can’t see many managers doing much better with this squad without investing. Being 5th is this squads absolute peak!

The ozil thing is bit ridiculous. There’s got to be more than just emery doesn’t fancy him. Playing Bate, everyone knows they’ll sit back and defend, which requires a creative player to unlock them. I just think even if you hated ozil you’d bring him on the bench. Seems there must be more than just tactical reasoning behind it. Can understand why emery wouldn’t play him tactically in certain games, which is fine. But he can help in the other games
