10 excellent touches with 85 minutes of dross. Problem is that was probably the best he has played for us.

I dunno about anyone else but Giroud's manner is starting to get really irritating. You see it every time he misses a decent chance, the camera pans on him and he's always got this "oh so close" expression on his face even if he completely miss kicked the ball . It was amusing at first but now it's like he doesn't care or he's delusional.
I could deal with Torres & Morata's miserable looks because on some level it shows they realized they weren't good enough and were a burden on their teammates, frustrating but honest. Giroud acts as if he's some world class striker down on his luck all the time, a few great goals (like the scorpion kick) got him believing he's Messi or something.

Giroud epitomises what we have become. Buying average players turns us into an average side. A good forward would've buried Spurs in the league cup recently. He is not a player any of the top 5 or 6 would've signed. He was a gamble made by Wenger on the cheap and we bought him in a window where little else was available. The club has no excuse for not strengthening our front line last summer. Going into the season with Giroud and Morata was always going to be disastrous.

Eptomises of what you have become is to loan out Higuain.

Read my comment, was Giroud like that at Arsenal? Every time he misses a chance, head in the air, massive smile, etc... no thanks for the pass or acknowledgement of his own miscontrol, just this irritating "ah well, I'll get it next time" demeanor?
When you have his goal returns it makes him look ridiculous

Giroud and Barkley were alright v Malmo. No need to be overcritical.Sarri should be blamed for not playing CHO v Huddersfield or Malmo for any significant amount of time.Hopefully,CHO will play more in the coming matches.

He was offside as much as Morata ever was ,he missed 3 pretty open chances, and he was so slow that I'm surprised he got the bus back to the hotel !,if he did ?

People are very odd. He was offside twice. I understand people have their favourites but you can’t just make stuff up.
