You need a coach that plays defensive football as Jose and Conte did. Its how you know how to play. Pep, Klopp, Poch, Sarri, these types coaches don't suit you guys or what you have. If you want that kind of style, you need a lot of players to be removed and replaced. Alonso, for example is a good player but not at LB (kinda like Trippier at Tottenham, good wingback but not a FB). Some can but aren't up to the level you want, such as Luiz.

Defensive football? Not sure about that. Under Conte we played some very nice football in his first season when we won the title. You don't achieve that as well as that record breaking win streak we went on playing "defensive" football.

Under Ancelotti we played some very attacking football breaking the PL goal scoring record along the way when we won the Double. So I'm fairly certain that as a club we know how to play styles of football other than just "defensive".

Agreed with that on Conte and Ancelotti!

Sarri stinks of AVB and Scolari for me and I actually think he's worse.

I mean even on trophies alone, AVB won stuff and Scolari won a world cup.

I had this theory that Conte told Sarri "look I'd accept the job if I were you, you'll have a good few months but then it'll all go wrong and as long as you don't do anything you'll get the sack and a nice retirement pay off"
