He has improved. First half he matched Salah for pace.

Been excellent since end of November.

If he keeps it up he’ll be our best defender for next season.

Salah doesnt really have much pace hes quick acceleration but ive seen some slower defenders than Lindelof catch back up a 5 yard lead to him.

He’s been a class act, him and smalling should be the partnership going forward this season.

Thought Smalling was the better defender today however 3 out of the 4 defenders were excellent. Young on the other hand defensively was good but with the ball was shocking

Got his head to everything today

Yeah young was poor but kudos to the others plus Mctominay

Having Smalling back is so great. Criminally underrated defender
