Thanks to the Kepa/Sarri thing Jorg's ludicrous attempt has gone under the radar.
Good to see we're warriors again though
Jorginho pen

That's just the way he takes penalties, pretty obvious to read if the keeper doesn't dive too early which Ederson didn't so comfortable save.
Aside from that, Jorginho had a great game along with Kante in the middle of the park. I rarely compliment Jorginho but that was the best I've seen from him. Enjoyed his fighting spirit too, took a yellow for the team as well.

Same as me , i was not pleased to see him step up first for the penalty, and it was very poor.
but as tablighi says ,that was one of the best games I've seen him play.

If that's 'just the way he takes pens', he shouldn't be first up, and also he should consider changing it.
If he's still around next season, I hope he spends a lot of the summer beefing himself up. I still think he will eventually be a big asset.

Yeah probably should consider changing it but it's worked for him in his previous ones he's taken. Wasn't a great penalty, Ederson read it.
But the again Kepa should have saved Aguero's too.
Looked much better yesterday with Kante closer to him and his passing was quicker and forward.

When goalkeepers wait for the kick taker, I'd actually argue they put themselves at even more of a disadvantage over just studying the player and making an informed guess. By waiting, they don't have the momentum to get across the goal. Yes it was a poor penalty, but a foot wider (could argue maybe even a few inches) and it goes into the net. Ederson was at pretty much full stretch.

His run up will always make his pens look stupid if he misses them.
Jorginho was very good yesterday. Passing was a bit off, pressure was getting to him there, but defensively might of been his best game for us. Overall very impressed, and good to see people appreciating that on the whole.

He got away with that type of pen in our last shoot out...Ederson obviously studied them
