Why are some of our own fans giving him abuse, to the point he had to disable comments on his Instagram ? Those fans hurling abuse forget that not so long ago were singing him praises for playing a key part in wining us the title. I call these type of fans sheepckle.
Most Chelsea fans acknowledges, that he’s been in awful form for most parts of the season, does this justify their action... As it happens, even the best players go through bad patches, not his fault that he gets picked by the manager when not in form.
It’ll be a tricky game tonight, but we play at home and it’s vitally important the fans get behind their team tonight, let’s hope they don’t let us down.

That's right it's the fans fault and we let the team down not the other way around. Don't you think that's harsh? The team have received good support this year.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I meant the team, not those fans selected for criticism, who probably never stepped foot in SB.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What evidence do you have that it’s only fans who don’t go to SB involved with this?

The fans ALWAYS get behind the team. They were behind them at United until they realised yet again the team couldn't be bothered for the 10th or however many times its been this season.
I noticed that this morning with Alonso, thats sad and Ive said it before, Alonso and Luiz are ALWAYS the scapegoats, even on this forum.. Dave was pathetic against City yet alot of 'fans' focus was on Alonso and Luiz as usual.
We'll always have pathetic and fickle fans just like every other club so its just part of the game IMO.
just think before you speak.
example from me - Morata was shlt but I never tweeted him or told him that or booed etc at games but doesn't mean I have to like him. every game I wanted him to do well because I want Chelsea to do well but when you see him play like he did every game you just want him out of the club.. but that doesn't mean slagging him off on IG etc

Lol there’s been two articles in the last week on our board criticising Azpilicueta, including just after City game.

Agree, no need to hurl abuse at the guy.
He was excellent in the title winning season under Conte playing in a system that suited him.
He just doesn't fit the Sarri way and he's not a very good LB as defensively he switches off.

True. It wasn’t long ago Spurs fans were giving similar abuse to Sissoko. He’s one of their best performers this season.
You can criticise the players, but fans shouldn’t stoop so low hurling abuse to this point.

Yeah I agree with that. There's a fine line between criticism and abuse, abusing a player/manager is just counter productive.
Alonso has been shocking this season but it's not entirely his fault. It's easy to forget Sarri's actually playing him out of position, he's not a LB (Chelsea quality LB anyway). He's being slaughtered for not possessing qualities he simply doesn't have, e.g. lack of pace, that's the managers fault for not compensating for it.

Criticising a player is one thing - but fans booing our players at the actual game is quite another. That's not a fine line - that is a very clear line. What kind of "fan" boos players from their own team - it's just incredible to me. That cannot be constructive in any way. A player is hardly going to improve or regain confidence when his own fans are booing him - it's just absurd. Last home game Jorginho was booed - it's insane. What players would want to come to play for Chelsea when the can expect to receive that kind of abuse when things aren't going well for them?
