This guy must be the most deluded 'pundit' on television. Sure, there are worse pundits, or pundits who have had lesser careers than him, but he seems to think he's played at the very top with the likes of Gerrard, Rio and Lampard etc. His career doesn't compare to those and when he try's to jump into conversations with these guys it really makes you cringe.
Even in this video where he addresses his sub-par career he still compares himself to Lampard, suggesting if things went a different way he could have gone down a similar path.

But the most infuriating thing for me is his blinkered opinion on Spurs. I swear he thinks he's some sort of club legend. I'm sorry, but I don't think the Spurs fans are sitting around drafting you into their all time XI, Jermaine. To put it into some perspective this guy played less for Spurs than Oscar did for us.
Two incidents inparticular which stick out are when Shearer completely shuts him down after he states Spurs deserved to win the game after they lost 4-2 to us.

A month or so ago in the BBC match thread, he also said that Hazard is 'too good' for Chelsea. It's not like he's Le Tissier ffs, this guy has won several major trophies with us. I wonder if he thinks Kane and Alli are too good for Spurs? <hmm>

Get this guy off the box, ffs
Jermaine Jenas

Sandy, I wouldn't disagree with you there but Jenas is a no-mark even with Spurs fans. If Greavsie says something we all take heed, but Jermaine Jenas doesn't have much to talk about amongst legendary players from either of our Clubs whereas Joe Cole won quite a bit with us. It's not tribal.

I quite like Jenas until Spurs are involved, where he often becomes a little bltch

I loved it when Shearer ironed him out when he was whining like a baby after we beat Spurs in the FA Cup semifinals in 2017. He looked like he wanted to cry whilst Lampard just sat there hiding a smirk 😂

To be fair Summer your own Joe Cole ain't exactly very good either. He talks total bollox.

Is Joe Cole biased towards Chelsea? quite possibly. Are Ian Wright and Alan Shearer prejudiced towards Ar$enal and Newcastle – undoubtedly. Is Souness biased towards Liverpool and $purs, absolutely – he openly admits on screen he loves $purs. The only ex professional football pundits who seem able to remain professional are Gary Neville and Carragher.
What sets these pundits apart from Jenas? None of them break down to the verge of tears when the objects of their desire get an on screen tonking. It really is embarrassing, if he finds it impossible to remain so un-impartial he should be relieved of his duties.
And as already alluded to, he does seem to have an air of superiority about him. When he first came through at Forest he was named Jenas but as fame overtook him he wanted to be known as Jeanas. Some one needs to tell him that there’s no ‘E’ in his name.
Want to be called Jeanas – Change your name by deed poll!!

The boy thing I remember about Jenas playing was my dad and grandfather complaining that he was in the team again and starting
