Lukaku is a decent striker. But not a great player. Against teams below the top 6, he's pretty good at getting goals against them.

He's pretty good at winning you games as well. Perhaps he deserves a bit more respect? And not to be called Donkey while Man Utd fans get their diiicks out for Cristiano and Thierry.

Yes, he did get us the goals to win the games. But we expect much more from him. If he cost half of what we bought him for, he would not get as much grief. Look at Pogba. He was getting until his recent form. So it isn't just because we have a dislike for him. For a striker costing that much, you expect much more. Same went for Pogba and has others we have bought.

I don't hate him. Nor did I hate our other players such a s Fellaini and Gibson. Nor our managers Moyes, LVG man Mourinho. The closest I have had to hating a player we signed (for footballing reasons) was Di Maria. Never liked him and I had a feeling he would flop.
