As o said, I hope it’s not. But I wouldn’t be overly surprised.

Us winning 3-1 over at PSG - a team who has had an impressive record at home seems to have gone overlooked?

I would have been pleased with that result alone, but still very ecstatic making it through the tie.

It was only a joke mate And no I don’t think Sir Alex has played any part other than just putting Oles name forward as a caretaker. If he was doing anything more it would have come out. Players can’t shut their mouths nowadays.

Saf is not running it, he’s just come back from major surgery and a health scare. At most he’s advising ole but nothing much more. He’s not setting tactics etc

Its well known that Ole and SAF have been spending time together at Carrington. Its not a stretch to suggest that there isn't some influence there - especially with Phelan back at the club. Ole has even admitted as much and that he seeks advice where he thinks it will help.

I should stress though that I think this scenario is more likely than SAF running the show - or being on the DOF role for Ole to manage. I imagine the players aren't going over Ole to SAF directly for example. Maybe the club should have looked at SAF's role and moved him officially to DOF and things might have been different, whether he would have taken it is another matter.
