If anything they are giving United more credit by saying it isn't a massive shock...

I think Ajax, for a young team to go to Madrid and play without fear was brilliant, just a fantastic complete performance.

Not only that, I think quite a few people have United's result second behind Ajax. Only a couple of people saying it wasn't a good result

Spurs beating Germany's current best team 4-0 is worth a mention, the only team not to concede over two legs. Ajax were good, but it was over a clearly past it Madrid team, same as Liverpool's win over a woefully past it Bayern. Man United got lucky, the rest were more or less expected.

Bayern are top not Dortmund, so yes they are better.

So if we are all going to be as petty as you lot, then Spurs agg score of 4-0 trumps your score agg score of 3-1 then ?
So based on a 5 year old's logic, which is yours, we must had a better result then.
On a grown up note though, fact is German football is dire at the moment, and to split hairs over which of the two teams is the best is frankly stupid. Any of the top 6 would probably top that league atm, so both our wins are somewhat overvalued.
