I do not get it??

Gazidis has come out publicly in strong support of Arsene, rubbishing the thoughts of replacing him, saying how lucky Arsenal is to have him, and that Arsene will remedy the problems and has the complete backing of management and the board.

Apparently, Arsene has reacted rather negatively to Gazidi's public comments, and has said he would prefer no public comments as such??

I do not get it..why?? Why would Arsene not be very happy and grateful for open strong support for him, in these times??

What am I missing..seriously..?

Maybe he thinks that is he damages the club too much he should get sacked? I dunno

It makes Arsene look like he needs support, and there for, in turn week.

Well, my take on the whole situation is that it's quite telling that Gazizdis has to come out and say something of this nature.

It just shows you that we are in a big crisis.

Wenger also made his ambition quite clear with his little rant!

He is happ with CL football and that's it, sod the trophies, sod the fans, as long as it's top 4 that's all he is bothered about.

NO ambition!
IGNORE the fans!

Disgraceful behaviour from our clubs current managers, get him out and bring in someone who wants to win things!

Where on earth did Arsene say that?

I saw the interviews of both Gazidis and Wenger and I didn't get that Wenger was rubbishing what Gazidis said. He seemed to be rubbishing those people that are telling hiim that he should be sacked (all the speculation)

I was a little surprised when the newspapers (mainly the Sun) came out with that line. Very bad reporting.

Come on, he hardly ever criticises anyone especially his own. You guys should know to take these reports as a pinch of salt!

Well, here is the interview I think those reports are referring to.
Seriously, how they came to that conclusion is beyond me

I think it may be the "he will turn things around' comment,
which affirms there is a problem. A problem Wenger doesn't accept
is there !
