Just seen he was released this morning after serving 3 years of a 6 and a half year sentence.
Anyone think he'll make an attempt to get back into fitbaw? The backlash for whichever club takes a punt on him will be huge.
Not to mention, the abuse he might get may drive him to cause himself self harm.
I said at the time he knew what he was doing, he knew she was 15 and what he was doing was illegal yet he continued to do it and he's clearly a bit of a creepy b@stard.
Do i think he's a full blown nonce? no, not really, but by law i guess he is.
I've been trying to think of a case like this where a footballer gets caught like that then try's to come back and play and the only one i can think of is that Craig Thomson boy who played with Hearts and was caught sexting 12 and 14 year olds. His career didn't last too long after that.
Intrigued to see how this plays out, arguably he's served his time (half of it) and should be allowed to get on with his life but football is an unforgiving enviroment and i'll be utterly amazed if he gets back in.
