I was in Edinburgh celebrating the other halfs birthday so I didn't make the game, but apparently I didn't miss much as we came from behind to get a win.
It's another narrow win and probably highlighted a great deal of what is wrong with us - giving too many sloppy goals (this time a keeper flog) and generally not playing well.
But...
We've narrowed the gap again. And if we win tomorrow night in Dunfermline (which won't be an easy game) then all of a sudden there's a wee bit of pressure on Ross County, as the gap will be just two points.
Admittedly they'd have two games in hand, so I'm not getting carried away, but it would be very nice if they dropped points in the coming weeks. They've got a trip to Alloa on Saturday but then ICT away on Tuesday and then our big game against them in Dingwall on the Friday night right after. That's a big few days.
I still make County massive favourites but at least we've won at the weekend, and it's important to secure second place as a minimum.

I thought there was a significant difference in quality in the cup tie
but you'll see more than me
are Dunfermline late challengers for going up?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
To be fair we had one of those days where we were just horrendous. Which we have more regularly than I would like. Caley have days like that too though.
Pars are on a great run but a month or so ago they were in danger of getting sucked into the relegation fight. I don't think they'll go up because I'd expect the Premiership team to beat them.

I don't really follow lower class relationships..but seems we get an update on yours every day now. Then maybe a wee sentence about some football thrown in at the end. You used to be about the football. We've lost the Ivan we all knew and felt indifferent about.

A wee bit rich considering your post about the Malteser last night.

Very true, but at least it's a different one each weekend. Playing the same team every weekend would get boring.

I reckon both Dundee sides would beat Scotland at the moment.

Pitch would be pretty crowded with the 33 players on it but I reckon you might scrape a draw.
