I don't know about other Liverpool fans but I get nervous when we play, so much I can't roll a cigarette properly and I've worn the same shirt for months and I never washed it for months, even the dog knows when Liverpool are playing it makes an exit to bedroom, I live alone and when Liverpool yesterday scored in the last minute I went beserk.
I've been a supporter since 1948/9 I've seen us win and loose I've even seen us relegated but this season it is different am I going mental or what ?
Mental

Hello, Redvalk.
Welcome to my world, especially of late. I don't think I'm as old as manusinc, but we are of the same generation.
I'm reaching the stage where there's no joy, no happiness in watching the game live. In reality its all becoming too stressful, bearing in mind that we are LFC, i.e. We don't do 'easy'. We only do 'difficult'.
There's a bit of me that wants to switch off, keep all knowledge of what the team is doing away from me, find out about it, by chance, a couple of hours (or months?) later. That would do for me.
Unless of course when we get to the final of the Champions League in Madrid. I've got to get a ticket for that, haven't I?
And watch the game live.
See, there's no hope for me.

i dont agree with most liverpool fans thinking they shouldn't be able to win the league over city.
your starting 11 is just as good maybe better. the difference is the bench.
i dont even think liverpool has played up to their potential this season with only a few games the exception, and yet here you are 2 points ahead
its not in your hands but win the rest of your games and i think you'll edge it.
picked you in the summer to win it but didn't think you would be playing that mid field in games like this.
also haven't seen so many passes to the opposition with no pressure as in that first half yesterday.

Their midfield is not as good. If Keita and Fabinho has been properly bedded in then they’re on a similar level to City

That would be a great achievement as Liverpool's team costs a fraction of City's.
I don't agree though. I think City are a bit better especially when you look at the respective benches.

44
Bloody youngster, scarcely out of nappies
BTW I'm another of the "exceptionally old brigade"
Can't believe I'm still working to be honest, but I guess it's my own fault

No , no, Biglaa, while I have many years behind me, I'm repeatedly told I've got the brains of a rocking horse!
A young one presumably.
