Old enough to see him get turned inside out by Coventry’s winger in the FA Cup semi at Hillsborough. Mind you, I did enjoy his thumping header against QPR in an earlier round. A solid enough player in the 2nd Div, but there was a reason Villa let him leave.

Possibly it’s you that’s not old enough to remember what I’m measuring true greats against.

Old enough to have watched and met the great Revie team

Then you clearly know what a true great is.

Eddie, Dave Bennett turned Tottingham inside out in the final.
Remember standing in the top corner of Leppings Lane end seeing the likes of Neil Aspin and Ormsby frantically chopping away at Mickey Gynn and Houchen and not having a chance against Bennett. Also big Cyril ( Regis ) was a real handful.
The QPR game stands out though - atmosphere was amazing and quite a few thousand locked outside as it was still pay on the gate.

I don't think it matters how long you've been a Leeds fan to appreciate the greats of the club, and that will be a subjective term that depends on the person answering.
The whole "I've been a fan since the Revie days and ergo know more about the greats of the club" doesn't wash on me, as a young fan. I can appreciate the club just fine despite never even having seen Leeds in the Premier League!
