According to an article in the Sun , Spurs new stadium does not hold more than Emirates for football. The extra capacity is only available when they remove the pitch for American football games as the first three rows of seats are lower than the soccer pitch so cant be used , hence why the official attendence for the first match against Palace was only 59,215

If they sell the front row it seems the spectators will be at the eyeball height of the players’ knees - how is that going to work ?

So if someone hits a daisy-cutter of a shot that goes wide, it could hit some poor fan right in the face.
£400m over budget, 6 moths behind schedule and they still couldn't get the thing right.

We all know what happens to teams that spend so much on a stadium cannot then spend it on players and so their achievements over the next 5 years will suffer just like Arsenal when you moved in to the Emirates. The story that Spurs are the richest or whatever is a ruse to try to make out that they will spend big on players and maintain their performance when we all know you cannot have a great side and a new stadium. If Spurs finish top 3 in the next five years (from next year) I will shave my chihuahua and she don't like being shaved.

The only reason Sterling is doing that is to make ashitload of money for himself
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sterling - "I demand 500k a week"
Sheik mansour - that will make you highest paid and break wage structure
Sterling - "but I pay for kids to watch football"
Sheik - "OK ok you win. I'll even pay you 600k"

It’s not quite the same, the timing of Arsenal building their stadium was unfortunate😕, since then a LOT more money has been pumped into the Premier League by TV & sponsors, so the payments should be much more manageable for the Spuuds.
