After the contrived not to win draw in West London on Saturday, Derby travel to Lancashire to play a Blackburn side who don't look like they're going down.....or anything else really.
Martin Waghorn should be available after a niggle in the last match. The speculation about Marriott's whereabouts is still being speculated but nobody knows. Scott Malone is expected to be out, so this should be a first start for our England international Ashley Cole.
We are expected to beat Blackburn, unfortunately the marker we set down against Rotherham did not quite translate to a convincing victory at Brentford after conceding 3 soft goals.
Did you now that in our last two away games we have conceded 7 goals which isn't really sustainable? Blackburn have lost 9 out of their last 11 including their last 3 games.
Team news:-
Roos
Bryson
Tomori
Keogh
Wilson
Mount
Waghorn
Lawrence
Johnson
Cole
Bogle
Subs:
Carson
Wisdom
Huddlestone
Holmes
Bennett
Nugent
Jozefzoon

He will be seeing me tomorrow morning. "an interview without coffee" as the Army have it. Then he has a long train journey south to consider things. He will be the better for the experience

Found that. Doesn't really shed too much light on it but wagstaff was in a similar boat earlier in the season and forced his way back into the team.

Anyone have any good news to share.
The sun's out in Canada which is nice.

A chilly but lovely night on Lewis. I finally got an eartag into a belligerent dun cow. Snipe drumming. We may make play-offs - in which case, err, other things to be positive about. Be of good cheer troops......been here before!

Do we have the esteemed record of most consecutive years in the Championship with a top half finish?

So a left back, who's been converted to a holding MF but recently deployed as a defensive number 10. Can he be turned into the mythical number 8 we've all been screaming for down these heartbreak years?
I get the sense FL prefers to play with two number 10's though and skip the 8.
Looks like Shinnie wouldn't let them through as easy.
Can he play now? <>
