I think most on here would agree that we in general we have played well away from home this season, and that our second half performances have tended to be better than the first halfs........so I looked for a table that showed how teams have performed in the second half of games away from home this season. Take a look at this link....the relevant table is on the right hand side, three tables down:
https://www.soccerstats.com/halftime.asp?league=england
We are the best performing team away from home in the second half by some margin (and in fact have the third best away record overall). I am not sure whether I should be (a) excited that we have dominated the league for 25% of the time (half of the games, second half only) or (b) in despair about how bad we have been for much of the rest of the time. Thoughts? UTF

Excellent research DDF.
I did some similar research to ascertain how teams have performed in the first 10 seconds of games.
Guess what? We were joint top of that table too. Incredible!

One season Steven Fletcher was the most lethal striker in Europe. Would probably still pick Ronaldo ahead of him though.

Innit, usually the small victories like this are what Liverpool and Spurs fans gloat about.

Think this banter is a bit harsh on the OP who makes a valid observation that we have been very strong when chasing games away from home.
I think this is both a credit and criticism of the Puel era. For me it just highlights that when we began attacking teams to get something out of a game we inevitably went 1-0 down in within 10 minutes, we got goals and results.
What has been clear is that Rodger has started games in this way and hey presto, we’re scoring and winning.
This bodes well for next season if we can keep the core of the squad together.
Ignore the jokers Double Decker. Us stats men understand there’s interesting info in what you’ve imparted. I also like a bit of sensationalism to get people interested in a post. Tick and tick. Keep up the good work.
7th and a European tour a real possibility at the minute.

I completely agree Mersey, interesting read and it shows what we mostly knew aboyt the Puel Era, terrible starts and throw the kitchen sing at em in the last quarter to try and salvage something.

Thanks Mersey and TB......I always try to look for positive signs, much as that has been difficult for much of this season! UTF

Does make you wonder if vardy would have been on 25 goals

Yes, this is just highlighting my annoyance at Puel for our start to games and our inability to score 1st.
I disagree with the positive side some people argue in Puels favour as he was always reverting to plan A minus to salvage something which you have to credit the players for, not the manager
