If nothing else, tonights result highlights just how poor Celtic are really. The mighty Maribor, Malmo and Falkirk have put us to the sword this season. However Celtic still cant get near us. Oh dear.

Smid make yourself useful - go and find Pishmael and Rocket. They have spouted more pash on here today than a well bred stallion and now - disappeared without a trace

If - If you cant have a bit of banter all hope is lost. Win lose or draw its important to have a laugh now and again.

Smid - ok fair play the hardest thing is coming on here when you lose a derby game - have to do it though.

Ross County are mince.
Elvis would have had Falkirk really pumped for the game against Rangers.
Rangers beat Celtic 4-2.
As an Arab and a neutral when it comes to the OF I'd still say Rangers have the better team.
How come the League Cup only matters when you win in it?

Cammy - Like I said above when it gets to Semi and Final stage then yeah I want to win it but in September im not that bothered about getting knocked out. Last season it mattered more because it was Celtic we beat in the final. Fair play to Falkirk ad good luck to them

I don't get that mentality though, surely you want to win every competition you enter?
To get to the semis and the final you have to win the previous games, so surely they matter too? Or is this just another example of Old Firm fans "gloryhunting"?

I'm not trying to have a dig by the way - genuine questions.

Cammy, certainly not about glory hunting im not that kind of fan. At the start of the season yes you want to win every competition but if I had to choose one to go out of at the first round it would be the league cup every year. Its just not as prestigious as the Scottish Cup and doesnt even carry a Euro place for clubs any more. When you get to the semis and Hampden and start to see the trophy in sight then naturally the interest steps up a bit but I can honestly say its not a competition iv ever been that bothered about. Put it this way for the old firm if its the only trophy you won every season it would be a huge failure.
