Come on Ajax!

Yes we still have to get past Man City, and Ajax would still be a difficult game if we do.

But there are many reasons why Ajax would be an easier fixture than Juventus.

One more Ajax goal and Juventus need three on the night!

Our league the eredivisie is rubbish but once in a few years we get some talent in clubs who do well. The difference now is Ten Hag is a very good coach and knows how to create a team and plays the players in their right position.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

How good would you say Ajax are? Is Ten Hag working wonders with a limited team or do they have some great players who won't look out of place in a CL semi final?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It is a mix of some good players and his tactics. He is a good coach. Their keeper is a good one. De Ligt, De Jong, Ziyech, Beek and Neres are their best players.

Thanks

Should be a cracker tomorrow. You've got to get the away goal to put City in trouble.

Massive chance for us to get to the CL and I’d feel confident against Barcelona after how played against them in the group stages.

I wouldn't call Man City bottlers but neither would I say they have nerves of steel. If we can score in the first 20 minutes and leave them needing three goals they could crumble.

Think we're in massive danger of getting ahead of ourselves here. First of all, this is not the Ajax we played, and still lost to, in the Europa league all those years ago. This is a team battering Europe's best... away from home. Secondly, it's only half time in a game we only have a slender lead in where the home team are averaging 3 goals at home each game this year. Every is saying we'll need a goal but quite honestly, we might even need more than that. We're still underdogs. Don't get your hopes up lads. We're facing the best team in Europe, away from home with a point to prove against us.

Those are all good points, but as Spurs fans (like with England) getting excited and getting ahead of ourselves is all we have!

think city will be comfortable and win 2 or 3 to 0.
then you'll beat them in the league and hand liverpool the PL.

We've never played Ajax in the Europa league (I'm assuming you mean in the last decade or so)

I absolutely agree mate, but City are not, and have never been the best team in Europe, they need to win the CL first to be called the best.
