So, may well get absolutely slated for this, and to be honest im not too sure about it myself!!!
But there is undeniable quality in Alexis Sanchez, hes performed at Barca and at Arsenal, can prove he can do it in the Premier League, and at this stage of his career, next season, id like us to keep him and play him as a centre forward.
Upto this point it really hasn't went well for him, apart from a goal here and there, but truthfully you could say that about 95% of our first team right now.
There is unquetionable class in Pogba, De Gea, and Sanchez, we need to surround these players with other top quality players, average players like Lingard, Smalling, Jones, Matic etc etc, will every once in a while have a good run and perform for 3 or 4 games, but cannot do it consistently, we need players who when they are out on that pitch you are guaranteed to get minimum 6/7 out of 10 every game.
Id keep Dalot, Lindelof, Shaw, possibly Rashford but he needs to catch a grip, literally wouldn't care less if the rest were sold.
Sanchez, Pogba, De Gea

He’s 30 as well. Sell him and if you want class sign someone like griezmann

Love Griezmann but looks like hes nailed on for Barca

Like mentioned, when he is involved in the build up he gets very sloppy on the ball, but that may be down to other players lack of movement, id like to see him up top, in and around the box, think he could be really dangerous for us there, he was on the pitch for what 10/15 mins, and had our best chance over the two legs.

I'll give anyone a chance to shine once we are out of the Jose shadow and into Ole's first proper season. Everyone expects another Torres situation, and it is a very real possibility, but he has shown glimpses under Ole and a fresh season might just see some form return.

It's a shame it hasn't worked out but we need to get rid of Sanchez and free up that 5m a week he's earning

You may as well make the best of Sanchez. The only way you will get rid of him is if you keep paying his wages cause no one else will.
I can't make my mind up abut last night. Given the squad do you think OGS could have done better, or was he a bit naive. His tactic was to go for it, which worked great for about 10 minutes. He also broke the first rule of playing Barca which is don't give the little Argie fecker any space at all.

We were 1-0 down. We had to try and give them a game.
Also, that rule is there to be broken (by Messi!)

We started well and then gave them 2 goals through mistakes, whilst not taking the chances we had in that time. Can't really blame Ole for that.

You can't legislate for two horrendous errors like the ones Young & De Gea made. Up until that point, we were pressing them high up the pitch, had hit the cross bar, gotten into some very promising positions and were looking lively and dangerous.
You could see all of that momentum and confidence evaporate when the first goal went in.
In recent weeks we've concede goals from very, very basic errors. It's not that surprising really. The squad is carrying plenty of dead weight, we've had a spate of injuries in recent times and it's plain as day that we don't have the fittest squad in the league. Ole has alluded to this himself recently.

That's exactly what some of us (not me) use to say about Torres.
When players in their late 20's (especially ones who rely heavily on athletic qualities) have a prolonged spell of bad form, 99.9% of the time it isn't form, it's their new level.
