If we keep Messi quiet then that's a large part of the job. Suarez is not what he once was and Coutinho isn't having the best time over there. Still going to be tough, but if we are clinical then we have a good chance against their dodgy defence.

I watched them against United and if they play like that against us then we can hurt them.

However, you just know they will have a different approach to this game.

Obviously they like to play some risky passes in their third of the pitch. They did it so much against United. They are good at it but Klopp should be licking his lips. Even Pep had to change his style for Liverpool.

Barca favourites but hoping for an upset of course. Its difficult but doable.

I have Liverpool as slight favourites for this one. Messi is literally the only obstacle in their way and it's the toughest obstacle one can imagine.

It’s finely balanced, but player for player Barca are probably better..where pool are better is the coach, and tactics..

Maybe they shade the attack just because of Messi. Midfield they're probably stronger, defence definitely us stronger.

I’d agree with that, defence you are better, midfield they are, though not as steeled, upfront, it’s close, but when Messi is added, they are way better..but that’s up to him if he turns it on.

I think klopp will go pure counter (as I would). You can certainly hurt them, but they can certainly hurt you.

United had the right tactics against Barca and I expect we will play similarly .If we make less mistakes than United did we have a good chance.

You've definitely got the tools to do it. I just think Barca resting key players will prove vital.

Porto by all accounts had plenty of good chances over both legs too. If you give Barca that amount you will be punished.

You'll do better than us though for sure. Your players aren't all brilliant but they do have character and heart.

barca aint all that.

Takes a bit more than character and heart to reach consecutive CL semi finals.
We are one of Europes top teams, and Messi or no Messi, we are capable of getting to the final again this year due to pure ability.
