This is going to be the last M/T that I do this season at least. Perhaps by next season there will be a renewed feeling of optimisim amongst fans.
Earlier in the season Forest fought out a determined 1-0 victory against a Blades team that was set up to defend for a point, while trying to snatch all three on the counter attack.
We beat them through a move of sheer brilliance, that in it's latter stages revolved around a mazey dribble and spinning cross aimed straight for Grabban's head, delivered by Carvalho's boot. Grabban needed just to put the slightest deflection onto an already banana cross to beat the United defence and produce an exasperated reaction from Chris Wilder on the touch line.
Forest looked like a team playing with purpose and a game plan that every player had bought into.
Wilder has a lot of injuries to contend with tomorrow so is probably gratefull to be playing us, a team that looks lost with a makeshift defence, a tired looking midfield and a striker in Grabban who looks as if he isn't too fussed about playing for his manager.
Another loss tomorrow seems inevitable to me; only question is by what margin.

as your pathetic long-forgotten club slides into oblivion.
We are 5 places below them

... and have never played in the PL, never been to Wembley, been in more relegation scraps than Yeovil,
play in an old decrepit ground and are run like a circus.
Apart from that everything’s rosy

And yet you can only finish 5 places above us (and lower than you managed last year )

We still have something to play for; I genuinely love it, every season, being in and around it. Can we get in the playoffs?... can we get to Wembley (again)?
Never bothered about going up (again) it’s just great being in the mix. What ‘Highs’ have you had in a generation?

Beating you was a high
Getting beat in the playoffs is not a high, unless you are completely deluded

No. But getting there is, it’s a roller coaster, great fun but disappointing to have to get off. At least your were on it though to enjoy the ride.
Much better than relegation scraps and managerial merry-go-rounds I can assure you.

Such great fun there were 5,000 empty seats at PP at your last semi final?...

Are you saying Derby haven’t been on a managerial merry-go-round in recent years?
