Wolves v Arsenal

This will be a very tough game.
Nothing but a win will do
With Tottenham beating Brighton last night any chance of 3rd place is practically gone.
Top 4 is still on though

If Mustafi plays then Wolves will win quite easily
We struggled against them at home.

They are quite good going forward and will look to exploit our joke defence.
Our forwards and midfield have to be on their top game.

They did beat United twice convincingly
United also play tonight so we could end the night in 6th

What say you ,?

We are better than Wolves if we both play our A game on that basis it is essentially down to our performance whether we win or not.

Mustafi being replaced by Sokratis will help though. Elneny and Jenks should also be left out.

Need to go full strength as we can't rely on winning the Europa as 3 tough games await in that comp.

Well we deserved to beat United in both PL matches this season but of course the referee was their 12th man at Old Trafford and made it very difficult for us to achieve that. So, the fact that Wolves have beaten them twice doesn't suggest to me that they will beat us - just that it will be a tough game.

At the Emirates they defended very deep and were very rough / niggly. The referee also let them get away with it and this continued to frustrate us (Doherty stealing metre after metre down the line on every throw in and getting away with numerous fouls springs to mind in particular).

I think we'll bounce back tonight with a win personally and at worst a draw, don't think we will lose.

Surprised at how many people think we will win today. I just don't see it happening.

Any time we play against teams that have very hostile atmospheres, and teams who have hard-runners that like to get in our faces, we tend to struggle.

People may point to Napoli away, but Napoli's atmosphere was crap tbh. And once Laca scored that free-kick, the tie was over. Napoli were going through the motions.

I think we will draw this game. Which doesn't help us at all really.

I think we have been less mentally fragile/more solid under Emery this season than last season with Wenger so I do believe our players can cope with a hostile atmosphere. Yes Wolves are a decent team and they make life tough for their opponents with their tactics but player for player we are still better and providing we do turn up tonight with the right attitude we are quite capable of winning. It's Wolves at the Molineux after all - not City at the Etihad.

Should mention as well that Wolves need to win in order to have a chance of finishing in a Europa Cup position so I doubt they will just sit back tonight... Considering we need to win too I suspect it will be a cup-final atmosphere much like Tottenham - Brighton was last night. I think an open game will definitely play more into our hands than theirs.

With mustafi not playing, the chances of us completely gifting wolves the win are reduced. Just need to make sure we actually turn up and bother to play to our ability. Not just stroll around like we did at Everton. There is some quality in the wolves team, and they’ll certainly cause problems. But we should have it in us to be better even if they play well

Looks like we’re trying to draw wolves on us

Famous last words... If only we had bothered to turn up tonight... Feels like there has been a breakdown / fallout in the dressing room judging by the entire teams attitude tonight.
