I knew this guy was all talk. Day before the game in his Sky interview and he says the players have let the fans down and haven’t applied themselves. What does he go and do? I heard Keano gave him a bolllocking yesterday, and rightly so. Pogba isn’t even fit to lace his boots.
Watching him from the stands last night and he was lazy as fack. The Stretty crowd was constantly on his back too, I had an old bloke next to me who was close to running on to the pitch and strangling him. The way he jogs back half heartedly whenever he loses out on a challenge is pathetic. He’s easily bypassed and the way smaller players bully him at times in the air for the ball is a joke too.
I’d respect him a bit more if he admitted he doesn’t want to be here. I know he’s surrounded by dross, but he’s part of the problem as well.
Side note: Lingard was absolutely facking useless. How he lasted that long on the pitch was beyond me. He was chasing shadows all night and produced the worst miss of the half. Ole’s subs took way too long as well.

If these stories have substance then yes, but I doubt it very much.

I’d tend to agree, though the truth will be somewhere in-between.

People seem to think that because he cost £90m he should be able to do everything.
Not the case, this isn't FM it's real life and Pogba isn't the player people seem to think he is. He has a very particular skill set and that's one that requires stability behind him and movement in front.
He is a luxury player and not one who isn't going to drag us through games like last night, so stop expecting it.

People just want more effort. Not casually walking back after he loses it doing something silly. We understand his abilities, and how he needs the players around him in song to do it.

Also for people calling him lazy, he’s covered more distance than anybody in our team..... and done pretty much more of everything else than anybody else in our team as well.

Right, Twitter, that source of repute.

Come on now Baz, people on twitter can report facts. A simple google search can confirm those details as well.

I have no idea what half those things on that list mean...
I do have a certain amount of sympathy for Pogba. He does seem to be held to a completely different standard to everyone else. But I suppose if you put yourself out there like he does, it comes with the territory.
I think by and large he's a reasonably good egg, but one that needs someone alongside him to crack the whip and keep him in check. And we don't have a single person in the squad like that. We need a Keane type personality.
We have too many in the squad that seem to be too comfortable. Pogba's the highest profile of these and the easiest target.

Apparently we can use the money to buy 3-4 top class players that will hit the ground running.. Problem solved.
.........
No one is saying problem solved but it isn't beyond the realms of possibility that we can get a good fee for Pogba and identify and purchase players who will come in and improve the team.
After all this is what Liverpool have done with Suarez and Coutinho money.
Granted we need to change the way the club is being run and off load a whole pile of deadwood as well.

I'm not precious about any player... But as has been said... If he wants to stay, i'd prefer to try and bring in other players that boost our level rather than lose players of the right quality and hope for the best.
We've got a lot of work to do, people suggesting we should sell Pogba, Rashford, even DDG just seems insane to me (unless they want out).

That is fair, however I don't believe he didn't put effort in yesterday. He battled well in the first half, and like most of our side looked shattered in the second.
