win the CL this season, and Man City were to go on to win the Prem, FA Cup and League Cup, and Liverpool were to win nothing, who would have had the better season?
Which would then beg the question of how come Liverpool have five players in the team of the season.
Over to you fellas.
If say Spurs were to go on and

It is called looking forward mate. Every business in life does the same, they are called projections of what they think may happen. Nobody really knows for sure, but I am sure you even make plans for the future, without actually knowing what is going to happen.
My assessment is that Spurs will do better next season, and Liverpool worse. It is an opinion. It may not happen, but so what. Are you seriously saying you have no inkling of what you want Spurs to do next season?

Sandy, I know you can’t stand Liverpool but give credit to them when is due mate. They are the only side to have battled side by side with Mancity for the title. Nobody has come close since last season where Mancity won it by a landslide. There’s a strong possibility they are going to be in the champions league final 2 years running. They have lost 1 game all year. They are a quality side mate and a level above Spurs mate, it’s as simple as that. You are right, maybe next season we will be above them if levy pulls his finger out his a** and actually invests in the squad. This current Spurs side are not as good as Liverpool

The reason Pool have only lost 1 game all season and are second in the league is the never ending supply of gifts and good fortune raining down on them from the officials and good luck with injuries etc. Yes they have signed a few players and improved their defence, but to say they are on another level to Spurs is false, they are on a similar level to Spurs but have been dragged into a title race by officials constantly giving them the benefit of doubt.
I wonder how many more points Spurs would have if we had been treated the same as Pool and been gifted 6 offside goals, 6 penalty kicks for dives, had referees refusing to award penalties against us, received the least yellow cards despite having the biggest collection of divers in world football and had our players let off several red cards. Whichever way you look at it, that`s a massive leg up which has probably contributed to many extra points.

No sorry Billy, Load of sh** mate. Yes they have had some dubious decisions and a bit of luck, but you don’t go losing 1 game all season through lucky decisions all season. You hate Liverpool with a passion and are blinded by your hatred. Just admit they are a quality outfit.

Don, I am giving them credit for this season mate. I am talking about next season. Just because Liverpool have had one blinding season this year, no reason to say it will be replicated next year. I am expecting Spurs to be a lot closer next year with a bit of investment, and finally playing back home. Spurs have not suddenly gone from being above Liverpool for like eight of the last nine seasons to rubbish, same as Liverpool have not gone from being OK to worldbeaters. As yet Liverpool still have not delivered a trophy, if they finish 2nd no matter how many points, it won`t count for nothing.
Leagues can be extraordinary different from one year to the next, and point swings can easily be changed even with a 15 point deficit the previous season, as I have already pointed out.
As I said Don, I praise Liverpool for their Prem season this year, but doubt they will replicate it again next season. Pretty well everything has fallen into place for them this season. Tight games decided in the last minute by goalie errors, happened a few times, City missing a penalty in the last minute to win the game at Anfield, very few injuries to any of their key players. Out of both domestic cups in the first round, meaning they could fully concentrate on the Prem. These are all the things combined that can give you a good Prem season. It happened to Leicester as well.

Yeh I agree, we certainly can go neck and neck with th next season, maybe even better them. But only if our chairman backs the manager and invests in the squad. No more bulls** transfer windows without a single signing.

Let's hope so Don. I am sure there will be players coming in next season, now the ground is finished.

I'm not sure Spurs will invest as much as you hope due to the stadium, which is the reason i don't see them competing for the league again. I reckon in with a shout for a domestic cup but Pochs is goal will be top 4 again im sure to help with the stadium.
If spurs dont invest sensibly and dont win anything then there should be no finger pointing at Poch its down to Levy.
