I didn't say he's to blame for racism - and if you read my posts you will see I've said it's disgusting - but because he's shown 1-way racist bias he's actually caused more harm than good.

I condemn racism to any race - it's a shame not all races feel the same. Until they do, it'll never go away. Sterling needs to grow up & shut up.

No-one is saying ignore it. As I've said numerous times on here, he just doesn't need to play victim every time he's given a microphone.

I've been racially abused twice on this thread but you don't see me shouting about it from the roof tops or splashing it all over twitter.

Folks, there comes a point where reason, reflection and synthesis is evidently unattainable - this guy being a clear example. FIFA should ban him for half a match and fine him £2.69.

You can't 'play the victim' if you actually are a victim.

Yep, I read that. Only the fan himself & those around him will truly know what he said. I suppose we have to respect the judiciary system in this country that says you are innocent until proven guilty & get on with it

He’s a high profile player who has the ability to reach a wide audience to start genuine debate about racism in the game. It’s worked as well as other players spoke up about what they’ve experienced.

Don’t see why he shouldn’t speak about it.
