Presumably there’ll be one this weekend so I shall butt in early with Liverpool 2-0 Huddersfield ahead of tonight’s match.
The projections might be faltering but the memory certainly isn’t. It might interest a dwindling few (warwick, gally, Vulpesy, grooves & nev) to note that 50 years ago to the day marks the last opportunity City had to revel in FA Cup glory.
How long will it be until they take it seriously again?

...especially as we would have put Man City out on the way to the final!

What a great cup run that was. The days when all the teams took the cup seriously.
Liverpool 5 - 0 Huddersfield.

It would be extremely interesting to hear about the day warwick. I don’t think I ever got over losing that one even though the Mancs were clear favourites. I remember the Spurs game though just 3 days after losing at Wembley. All that intensity with what was it, 5 matches still to play to try and save our skins from the drop.
