A comfortable win for United against a team who looked like they've already accepted relegation. First half we were fairly good, scored a couple of goals and looked like we could go on and win it by as many as we wanted.
It turned out we were happy with two, with the second half being a fairly poor affair and typical of a team who have bigger challenges ahead.
It was good that Sow got more minutes into him. I'm still not sure what I make of him, he's clearly got talent and should be a threat but hasn't looked like scoring. Always good to have options though.
I feel for the Falkirk fans though. After we scored their attention went fully on their own board and it was an afternoon of them shouting 'sack the board'. That club has been run disgracefully and the decision making of the board has led them to where they are now. A warning to other clubs who are considering ditching their youth team and getting into bed with an agent who is more interested in lining their own pockets than the good of the club.
In other Championship news, it looks like our good friends across the road are doomed for relegation. There was a nice moment at the end of the game at Tannadice when we showed rather loud and vocal support for them by singing 'their's only one Jim McIntyre'. It was really nice, especially since McIntyre used to play for us. I think it was coincidentally right after Motherwell scored their 4th goal.

Aside from the fact that's 95% of them (I'm being generous) what is the story here?

My understanding is that Falkirk went down the Brentford 'moneyball' route, getting rid of the youth team and signing players based on stats. However, rather than casting their net wide, they got into bed with an agent who kept feeding them his own players from lower leagues down south. They were all duds.

s an aside I was talking to someone about a promising Hamilton youth player and the person implied Accies had dodgy arrangements with certain teams
Hamilton Accies and dodgy arrangements, well i never
Have they ever traced their accountant who plucked nearly a million yet?
Club controlled by gangsters.

Remember that suspicious fire at their ground as well? I wonder if they ever caught someone for that

Was it the same lad who was making the threatening calls to John Beaton?

Didn't realise Falkirk had ditched their youth team completely. Back in 2011 they beat United in the League Cup, where 10 out of the 16 players were from their youth system. What an utterly baffling decision.
Just glad United aren't so daft as to destroy our youth system in favour of a manager who lines his pockets whilst signing duds...
In Dundee-related news - here's one for the stattos out there. If Dundee lose their next game against Hamilton, they'll have gone on a 10-game losing streak, matching their worst ever. Set in 1898. Incidentally, the same year humanity discovered viruses.

IF we get through to the final of playoffs think I’d rather we played St Mirren rather than Hamilton with that plastic pitch and that wee Bassa Imrie. Thoughts ?

Yeah I'd rather Inverness play St Mirren. I keep thinking it'd be great to get rid of Hamilton. Then I remember it means we have to play them next season

Not looking good for you boys Andrew been a disaster of a season for you. What do you think the Americans will do if you go down ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If? It's an absolute certainty. With their goal difference, they have to hope St. Mirren only get one point from their last three games whilst Dundee have to win three-in-a-row. A feat they haven't accomplished since November 2014.
And even then, they'd have to not bottle the play-offs.
