Basically it says the game against Brentford will be played next week but the crucial point is a meeting today between Bassini and the EFL. If he fails to satisfy the League that he has the funding he claims then the entire deal is off and unless someone steps in at the very last minute we're either in admin or outright liquidation.
The club has also made an official statement this afternoon which can be found here: https://www.bwfc.co.uk/news/2019/april/club-statement4/
In short Laurence Bassini is being told 'put up or shut up' by both the club and the league. Given his failure to keep his promise to pay the players last week I'm not holding out much hope.
Since we face yet another court date with HMRC on May 8th it's possible we could be in admin as early as tomorrow and even possible that a liquidator could be appointed as early as this week. There are rumours of some other Consortium being interested but I severely doubt there'll be time for them to act even if it's true.

We are in no rush, better to get the right deal this time round , the Judge will believe Bassini was a tyre kicker and give Ken more time.

Getting confused with all the threads, getting like the beano. So another 48 hours, I'm sure that was a film. Tick tock until Thursday unless ken pulls the plug which he surely will do if he has another buyer. How many points deduction are we facing for skipping 2 games and going into administration? -28 I have us , 12 for admin, 8 for each game skipped. Also a big risk of being kicked out of the league too or am I over reacting?

It's not only the EFL that needs convincing. Don't forget we have a date in court coming up and I would think that Ken will have run out of time and goodwill.
Administration should be the way forward now unless there really is a white Knight waiting in the wings. WE all need this situation sorting one way or another.

You can see the hotel being shut up for longer than the 48 hours stated it does now feel like a very slow walk to the executioner. At least little Lee can look back at those happy days he spent camped in the hotel.
