Hiya guys,
I'm new to this, and I've been sifting through some articles, and there's barely anything on our new player, Carl Jenkinson.
Apparently, we have to pay Charlton 1 million in compensation, so it's not really too much of a big deal if it doesn't work out, but what do you guys think of him?
He's 19 years old, 6'1, lifelong Arsenal supporter and sounds like a nice bloke, but hmm I don't know, I doubt he's going to bring us the title next season which is the kind of transfers Wenger really needs to be making now, what with Samir, Clichy and Fab going.
Still, one for the future, I guess?

Barca cant afford Fabregas and I doubt he will; go anywhere else, Nasri is still in contract discussions with Arsenal so likely to stay or they would have stopped and the story was that liverpool want to make an offer for Clichy, not that he or Arsenal have accepted.
Dont take every rumour as a done deal or its going to be one long summer for you.

I think that Wenger regards him as one for the future,likely to get games in the Carling cup.

He sounds like a great guy from his interview, he might have that character that we see from Wilshere. Playing for the badge, 100% effort and such.
Hopefully he can be Sagna's direct replacement when he is too old to play for us. I wouldn't be surprised if we sold the legend that is eboue to free up a squad place and make jenkinson 2nd choice.
