We have to play Zigic if he is fit and gives 100%, as the only way we are going to get a sale of him in January would be if he plays and does well.

Zigic could be a big player this seasoon (excuse the pun) but if we do feel from inside the club that Promotion is not on the agenda or possible then it makes sence to sell Zigic.

And by playing him means he can prove his ability and fitness and that will mean sides would come in for him...

Even if we got £3M what we need to remember is that £50K+ a week wages saved is a lot to spend on other players wages so we could replace Zigic with 2 decent players at this level on the money made from sale and wages saved.

Blues fans, I should point out that Barnsley are unbeaten away so far this season, this includes a 2-1 win at Reading in which our 'keeper saved 2 out of 3 penalties.

Athersleyred. You forgot to point out you've only won 4 from the last 25 and scored 6 goals from 7 league games.
