Didn’t watch the game today.

So can anyone enlighten me on how well we played again today?

It’s a bit like you were inside and it was sunny out, you look forward to getting out..You stepped out, rain came down Hard. You put up your umbrella and get hit by lightening. You’ve had enough, but as you head back to the house, you see they’ve evicted you. Unperturbed, you climb the steps to your house, but miss one, you fall down, then go through a sewer manhole cover and end up head to toe in shiiit.

A bit like that.

I heard that was just the first half!

It's not about wanting to play or not it's fear. The players have nothing to lose if they make mistakes. Fergie was stern so was Mourinho. Players have found a new way of hitting back at coaches they fear - rebellion followed by a sack. They played well after Mourinho's sacking to show how bad he is. But now they back to what they love most, resting in their laurels.

Unfortunate for Utd the lasting impact Jose has left. Left them with an unbalanced, lazy, ageing team.
Conte was lucky enough to knock the mourinho habits out the team, but I’m not sure utd will be so lucky with an ageing team that Jose left behind.

Most of the first team are decent enough age, to be fair. It’s more the balance and quality than age which is the issue.

Valencia, young, signed ibra, mata...maybe not just age, but lack of potential now, smalling, Jones, rojo , lingard will not be improving from here on out. He’s left over the hill or not good enough players though that’s for sure.

Martial also looks like he’ll never recover to the player most though he could be

And of course Sanchez

That doesn’t really contradict what I’ve said. We have a few old players that need moving on but age isn’t the main issue with the squad.

Hence”maybe not just age”
