Ole is at the wheel!

19 points behind us when he took over now nearly THIRTY points behind us ...no CL either and the "world class" pogba strolling it .

Who the fk are Man Utd the OT faithful sing in irony, not ironic now is it...I mean, who the fk are M Utd

Ole at the wheel

In fact if I can just correct your headline.
Nearly TWENTY points behind when he took over, now 28 points behind.
This from a rookie manager, and your manager and team at the top of their game.

Fair enough Naby, I sometimes have the same problem when the grand children are 'helping' me.
But it's true that managers can learn from past mistakes and improve, including yours.
Ole may or may not, but at least he made a good start even if it's gone off the rails now.
From now until next Christmas will tell us a lot. But reading about his time as a manager in Norway ( I know ) he grew into the job and all the staff and players rate him highly. So I'm optimistic.

Marco Silva is highly rated as well but that doesn’t necessarily mean he’s ready for Utd. He’s learning at Hull and Watford and Everton.

Every single manager needs to learn. Not many are given that at one of the biggest clubs in the work. Maybe it’ll work out well but it’s a tough ask of him. Can’t help but think that if he is going to be a top level manager then this job has come 10 years too soon.

The previous three all had experience, and two were counted as world class, but it didn't work out. Perhaps a change of tack will work better.

Its ridiculous putting ole in charge of utd. In business terms utd are one of the biggest and they just appointment in essence a graduate manager to control Utd.

Its like Goldman Sachs going to a university graduate to take over at the helm....inconceivable and totally ridiculous. Never ever happen but only in the utterly mad world of football!

Since OGS took over only City and Liverpool have a better record in the PL.

Not a good analogy GB; Virtually every single manager is an ex player who got his start at smaller clubs and then either progressed or not. Including your own.

I still don't see the logic in giving ole the job before the end of the season. He was told he had till the end of the season, then he'd find out, and he was hardly going to go anywhere else if they didn't give him it beforehand.

He's a good man, and I hope he succeeds but given his pat jobs and Utd's current form, I'm doubtful

Only Man City & Liverpool earned more points than Leicester since Rodgers appointed at end of Feb

United win the 3rd since December trophy but Leicester win the 3rd since end of Feb one

Ah, so Ole's run was two months longer than Rodgers, Hurrah.
