I had the privilege of seeing Bobby Tambling on the platform at Fulham Broadway around 1800 after the game tonight. He looked very smart in suit and tie and very well in himself. He remembered the night I met him a few years ago at a Shrewsbury and mid Wales CSC bash attending by Ron Chopper Harris John Hollins and himself. What a privilege to get to shake his hand twice in my lifetime. What a gentleman, God bless you Bobby !

Bobby Tambling used to go to Chelsea by train even when he was a player. I have seen historic pictures of him on the District Line on matchdays. Standing up as well, you'd have thought someone would have given him a seat.
