I get your point GT but Auba is 30 and one of our most prized assets. It's not that i want to sell, it's we might have to in order to generate the transfer funds we need to build the squad.

Xhaka has to be the first one out, truly awful player - our worst ever signing all things considered.

Ozils big wages is another issue altogether
Who would want him
Nobody is stupid enough to make a bid
Not even the Chinese clubs

Xhaka OUT should be top of the list.

Sad to see the news trickling out regarding Welbeck's departure. This officially marks the end of any serious potential aerial attacking threat from the club. An entire dimension of our game gone.
I don't think I can live through another 90 minutes of countless useless crosses and corners lobbed into the mixer. It's got to the point where almost every corner into the opponent's box is a potential counter attack.

He's dross though and certainly isn't on low wages.
Also he's not some sort of aerial master, he's just so bad at finishing and controlling the ball with his feet perhaps that's confused some people into thinking he's useful with his head (?).

First team I'd like to see:
Leno
? Sokratis Holding
Bellerin Torreira ? Kolasinac
Ozil
Auba Laca
That means we need at least one CB and CM. They both need to be finished articles and beasts. We are not shifting Ozil so hoping he bucks up. We should get another CB as well and look at wingers/ left wing back. So looking at 5 players to strengthen the first team. And that is not counting strengthening the bench for rotations and ready made replacements.
As for outs, please if possible shift Xhaka, mustafi, elneny and jenkinson. We are freeing up some wages shifting Cech, Ramsey and Welbeck but we definitely need replacements. Back to basics in some areas (centrebacks who bloody defend) and a solid CM.

It's a stinging indictment of the one-dimensional nature of our squad for me to even describe 'dat guy' as our only hope in the air. All on the strength of a goal he scored 3 years ago.

We have so many average players it's unreal.
There are probably only 5 or 6 players that I would strongly argue to keep.
Leno
Laca
Guendouzi
Torreira
Bellerin
Sokratis

So how exactly do you think we will replace the players going out as we will get peanuts for selling them and only have a reported £40m to spend in the summer/. That wont even replace Ramsey.
