First of all that goal by Kompany was worthy of winning what has been a brilliant title race. Secondly the nerve and bottle shown by city to hold us off is not like anything I’ve seen before, we just kept coming and kept winning and city with all the pressure, knowing one slip up and it could be over, held on and won and won and won. Absolutely incredible.

For us it’s another season where we are the bridesmaid, as city will surely get a routine win at Brighton. This season has been amazing though and can’t fault the players for their commitment and mental strength to carry on winning and getting over 90 points this season is more han anyone thought we would.

Great season though

I found them much more better and devastating to watch last season Tiddles. This year they’ve been more efficient than pleasing on the eye.

They had no one pushing them last season, so they could play more freely.....

I honestly thought we were gonna get one this year SE85. It’s the hope that kills you
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Not over yet. You still might although I can't see it now.

And if you don't you'll win one soon anyway if you keep the manager and core of players.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Maybe. Although It did feel like “this year was our year”. Not to be though.

Might take till pep decides to fack off before we get one.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Pep has 2 yrs left max at City. Aguero,Silva, Fernandinho n Kompany all going soon.

You are currently in prime position to take over from them. However a lot can change in football and quick.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
In a recent interview Pep said he was happy and enjoying the challenge of the Prem and doesn't see himself anywhere else in the near future. When asked if he was staying linger he said that was up to the club if they still wanted him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Are his family happy here though? Does his wife and kids want to live here for another 3-5 years?

Don't think he'll be here much longer, personally. 2 years tops I reckon.

We definitely need to sign another 3 quality additions minimum imo. Centre half, winger and one midfielder imo. Then good back ups for our fullbacks.

If we can do that we can probably match our points total (or close) this season. Even then it might not be enough though
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We have a 83-86 points squad as it is. As it happens, we have exceeded that through a bit of luck, front 3 staying fit all season, winning some games we probably shouldn't have which has changed that into a mid 90s side.Even with a couple of additions, it is so difficult to turn that into a regular 90's squad.

City's meanwhile is probably average about 94-96. Even in a bad season, they would get high 80s you feel.

While Pep is here, the rest of us are facked, pretty simple. The way they completely dominate the opposition under him is just ridiculous. With City's budget they are never going to have problem replacing those players that retire soon either.

I did not enjoy that game at all, aside from the goal! I’ve said a few times on here that I thought that was the trickier game compared to the Burnley one and I don’t think we’d have scored had it not been for a wonder strike like that. Thought we really missed De Bruyne tonight to calm it all down.

Regardless of how Sunday goes, I am really looking forward to a break from football for a bit! That goal did make a welcome change from the emotion of the Spurs game though!

That’s two seasons in a row we’ve beaten every other team, which is an incredible achievement. I feel incredibly privileged to watch this team, as Liverpool fans should feel about their team too. The standard and the performances under pressure have been just fantastic throughout.

That was just too tense, aged me 30 years. They set out to park the bus and did it pretty effectively. Wanted Vinny to pass and not shoot, proves what I know!

Agreed, it's great to watch but not good for the old ticker and stress levels. Here's hoping Sunday is a bit easier on us all, but I doubt it.

City relentless what’s that, 13 wins on the bounce? Absolutely phenomenal.

Gotto applaud that no matter where your loyalties are.

Bittersweet really for us Liverpool fans that this is our best team for decades, so we can marvel at that, however still second best compared to City and Barcelona.

Think the question on people’s lips is what can we possibly change to be that little bit better, would be goals from midfield I reckon.

Reckon Klopp knows that already and like the Fabinho signing has someone already lined up.

My thoughts exactly! If they were still playing they still would not have scored! VK is a gem and so was his goal. Sergio, apart from that header, seemed tired or lost, or both? City is limping towards the finish line, they produced little in the first 30 mins. yesterday. Hopefully Pep will have figured how to penetrate a stone-wall defense early in the game this week-end!
