Bottle job. That awful Barcelona team didn't deserve anything.
Ajax as I have been saying for a while now were just about the hardest team Spurs could have drawn. Ajax I expect now to beat Spurs and lift the CL. As much as I want Spurs to go through, I think they will fall short and Ajax will win, and then go on to beat Liverpool.
Well that's what you call a proper

Sandy, I like you mate but give it a bloody rest. This was a superb result for Liverpool. If only we could have half of that tomorrow, we will go through. Give them credit ffs

That face mask alone will be enough to give Ajax the heebie jeebies
I believe we will win, to me personally tomorrow is a special date, and added to Sissoko's statement that is reassuring. And to top it all off, there is no question that Liverpool winning tonight will certainly have given Spurs a wake-up call.
At the end of the day, even if we don't win, I just hope the team play their hearts out and not be the rolled over puppy dogs they were at the beginning of the first leg.
IF we get to the final in Madrid, there will be problems however, and that is not on the pitch. No one yet has picked up on this. There will be a potential for mayhem. I personally don't mind Liverpool at all, but there are those out there on both sides who may not exactly play by the rules and behave themselves. This is a fear we should all be aware of...

Bet you there’s worse trouble in Dam tomorrow than there would be in Madrid. Reports that 20k have gone over there

Oh my goodness, totally got ahead of myself. You're right, forgot about tomorrow (not the game itself, but especially after the home leg). And the Dam of all places. I wonder if there are any web cams

Sorry Don, couldn't give two shiiiites about
Liverpool. I support Spurs not the Scousers. Barcelona were awful last night and gifted them that match, they were so lucky to get the worse Barca side in years. Spurs have the toughest tie.

Excellent performance by Liverpool but when an absolute bottle job by Barca

I despair at Spurs in this area sometimes, but how bad / unprepared were Barca ?
I mean everyone knows how Liverpool approach European ties at Anfield, with the quick start, high press and crowd noise, but Barca did not seem to have prepared for it all.
They were awful to a man. Messi in particular just disappeared to the extent I forgot he was playing in the second half.
Very much doubt Ajax will be as accommodating though.

As always, it's a bit of both. No way would Liverpool have won 4-0 if Barcelona had actually turned up, but equally there's no way it would have happened if Liverpool hadn't played outstandingly well.
To be fair the Liverpool keeper made a few good saves. I don't like Liverpool at all, but you can't deny it's a heck of a result. I just hope Ajax beat them in the final

Well thats a joke, your always creating articles about Liverpool, you seem to hate Liverpool more than Man United fans do. Not long after last nights game, came an article about barca rolling over and comments on how ajax / spurs will beat liverpool in the final. It was a great game of football and most fans congratulated them, not Sandy.
Liverpool are a top team currently and a step above spurs so if they meet in the final, theres no question where most people will put their money!
