.. turned out to be great.
Ground prior to the game was in a little bit of trepidation, but as YNWA continued for about ten chorus' the crowd were upto it, Jnr was up for it since last week, his vocal chords took a hammering.
The way we started was just rapid, completely overwhelming Barca and at that point you knew, you just knew something special was gonna happen a d the crowd gave it the impetus by the bucket load.
Suarez booed, called a cheat (karma got him) and plenty of F Off Suarez Every time he got the ball.
From our vantage point which was just behind the Sky Italia team we actually had about ten screens to see replays from, got to say sorry for basically falling into them after Origi scored!
Dunno whether that caused some equipment mishap but the sound engineer spent the rest of the half trying to fix something
The karma that Suarez got was his deliberate kick at Robertson meaning he had to be subbed second half.. for GINI!
Got to say the goals were just perfectly timed for us
Going in just 1-0 down Barca would be confident and think "yeah we got this" Gini coming on just changed that totally.
Two quick goals and we were rocking, Italian sound man had given up by this point and was clapping as Gini headed in perfectly. Lost jnr in what was a massive frenzy of hugs, he didn't care bouncing up and down with everyone.
Barca had totally lost it by this point no idea and their fans sat in disbelief.
we were on cloud nine (high enough up) and a lot (fans and Barca!) weren't paying attention when Trent rolled the ball onto Divock, that was amazing, we didnt stop all game and for once the players managed the game out perfectly.
Final whistle was the cue for huge huge celebration, pandemonium in fact, YNWA was belted out again, as the Barca team scurried away leaving their fans to applaud the Liverpool team. Which they did and we applauded them back.
Trent was loving it stayed out on the pitch doing almost a lap of honour on his own, bloody brilliant him.
Facking amazing amazing night..
Onto Madrid.. Let's go Redmen!

He even told us to spring him out of last lesson early to "go to the doctors"

Brilliant , I know the feeling , have enjoyed watching our team even more in the last 10 years as son who is an avid fan watches with me . He said to me last night “ dad glad you support Liverpool because I couldn’t imagine supporting anyone else “ he’s now after tickets for the final even though it’s his GCSES this year !

Great mines 15 and absolutely loves the club , got tickets on the kop recently for Burnley game and he was so happy , all I heard all week was the bobby si senor song !
