Congratulations

It says an awful lot for optimism and perseverance that you keep battling against the odds and eventually get one right.
So well done GB...pretty spot on with that one

It’s an astonishing result. Barca knew they were in for a game, they even rested all their first team players to prepare. They could not live with the intensity of the team or the pressure added by the fans.

Barca are a fantastic team but we destroyed them last night. It will take them a long time to get over a chastening game like that.

Messi said they were knackered and couldnt match our pace after the first leg, didnt expect them to still be knackered after the lot of them were rested at the weekend.

They rested their first team for our return to the Nou Camp too Aggers

They just couldn't cope with the pressure from Liverpool.

I think that’s why the Premier League is superior every team works hard on fitness if you lack sharpness then the teams in for a torrid time.

I noticed that the VAR pixies were ignoring all of Barca’s dirty tricks and a nailed on penalty last night.

Barca in both legs struggled to win and hold the ball, which is not classic Pep era Barca. In the first leg they defended effectively, and attacked very effectively. In the second leg they still made some good attacks, but the defending was shonky and the fourth goal almost farcical. They def need a bit of a refresh - which will happen starting with buying De Jong.

Liverpool actually played good football in both legs. It wasn't like the one in Istanbul where they were abject, before somehow dragging themselves back into it. This Liverpool side is a lot better than Rafa's side that won it.

Certainly the way Liverpool, Spurs & City play off the ball.

Hopefully that is the way Ole goes too, it worked until our players fatigued.

Lack of VAR possibly put us out last year. Use of VAR put us out this year 😭

Barca were incredibly lacking in urgency and even when they had chances they didn't take them. They had 2 opportunities 3 on 1 in the first game and just had pretty pathetic efforts to score. Well done Pool, great result.
