Amsterdam Arena: noisiest ever

I know it is hard to tell from TV, but what a noise from the Ajax fans last night.

I don't think I've ever heard a noise like it on TV.

It seemed unrelenting, even louder after Spurs got back to 2-2. Whereas at Anfield the noise dipped at stages in the second half when Barca attacked.

Also, the Youtube clips of the Ajax fans singing outside the stadium.

Did any Spurrs fans go?

I reckon you can beat that.

Did you say your mrs has snaffled you a corporate ticket for the final?

Not a fan of tickets going to corporate chinless types but fair dos.

tbf, a Corporate ticket got me one for Munich in 2012, my long-standing facking Season Ticket was useless with each Club only getting 17,000 or so each. Those chinless wonders gobbled up the rest of a 62,000 Capacity stadium so the way I see it, people like me should be there, not them.

You cant really tell from your television.

There are literally sound engineers employed to manipulate what is broadcast.

Ajax are a great club and it's a bit of a shame we dont have two true European giants of the game in the final.

Well it would certainly be louder than the bridge with your one song of chewsea chewsea chewsea chewsea on repeat for 90 mins
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fair enough.

Nothing can beat blasting a Celtic song over the tannoy on max volume and then chanting "liverpule, liverpule" while booing an ex player because you're offended he celebrated against you

I can't begrudge the fact you deserved to beat Barca over the two legs, but making out you are amazing fans because you were up for a CL semi final is beyond laughable.

Had you created that type of atmosphere in times of adversity (for example the Roy era) THEN I would hand it to you.

Never said we were but every ground has their moments in CL knockouts rounds, even The Ethiad (see Spurs) or the Emirates (see Arshavin Vs Barcelona).

The true test of a fanbase is in adversity and a half empty Anfield during Roy's reign said everything I'm afraid. Deep down you all probably know it else why would you all come here all offended by the OP praising the Atmosphere at the Amsterdam Arena?
