Apart from charging a fortune for travel fares London Underground has decided to schedule upgrade works on match day. The whole of the Victoria line will be closed on Sunday 23rd October 2011 for the Arsenal Vs Stoke game.
It's going to be nightmare to and from the Emirates.
However there will be a free under 18s friendly match between Arsenal and Chelsea!

its such a frickin waste of money!! i moved to london on the weekend and have to use it everyday. its either that or i take the bus with the school kids

I think it's really irresponsible of them, it's hard enough travelling to and from the stadium with the transport let alone without it.
I am sure there are weekends when Arsenal and Tottenham do now play for them to schedule this.

Think yourself lucky you have an under ground and it's as cheap as chips, try living in any other major Uk city and see what public transports like and you'd soon shut up moaning
